Each year IHM School 7th grade students can’t wait for Junior High Science Teacher Steve Doran’s unit on cells. Students are actively engaged in learning about the various parts of the cell and their functions. Students bring in materials of choice to create the figure of a cell. Styrofoam, cakes, boxes, candy, Play Doh, cake frosting, batteries, glue sticks, gum, spray paint and more are used for their amazing creations.
