Good Afternoon IHM Families,

Congratulations to all who were involved in the musical, Shrek, Jr. All three performances went off without a hitch and were wonderfully attended. We all know how much hard work and effort go into making the musical a success. A special Thank You to Mrs. Smith for all she does to make this happen.

Thank you to all those who attended our Night of Reflection. I hope you enjoyed the time with your child to review all he/she has accomplished this year. The Choir, Band and Strings performances were all so impressive. It is such an amazing feeling of accomplishment for our students to showcase all they have learned.

Please visit the “Parents” section of our school website to find the Out of Uniform lists from the Walk A Thon. You can find the link here:

On Monday, 2C will be traveling to the Nature Center. There is Eucharistic Minister Training for all confirmed 8th graders after school. The final Education Commission meeting of the year will be at 7pm in the school library.

On Tuesday, 2D will be traveling to the Nature Center. We will have our End of the Year Awards Ceremony for students in grades 4-8 at 2:00pm. If your child is receiving an award or scholarship, Mrs. Hill sent an e-mail home to the parents.

On Wednesday, 2B will be traveling to the Nature Center. The 7th graders will be celebrating Pig Day with their dissection activities.

On Thursday, we will celebrate all school Mass led by 6H. Our 1st graders will be singing to our 8th graders and we will have our annual Walk of Fame. This will be followed by the 8th grade memory video. Junior High exams begin.

On Friday, the 6th grade students will celebrate their year with the Renaissance Festival.

Please remember that we are once again collecting shoes and bags for our Shoes for Success project. These lightly used shoes benefit those in our twinning parishes. Please send your donations into school and place them in the bin placed in the school lobby.

As we enter the final weeks of the 2016-2017 school year, I am grateful for such a supportive school community. We are truly blessed to be surrounded by such faith-filled and dedicated people. Each and every one of you are such vital members of our school community and I deeply thank you for sharing in our journey.

Many blessings to you and your family.

Mrs. Devine
