Mary Hedger has been invited to join the Alpaugh Scholars Leadership Program.  Modeled after the “Leadership Cincinnati” program, members of this group will work toward building relationships between education leaders and community leaders
Mrs. Hedger has also been given the NMSA and NAESP Salute To Leadership Award for her efforts in furthering best practices in her role as a principal.

                        Hello, this is Michael , your student from last year and the year before.  I just wanted to let you know that I received the United States Achievement Academy book, which is the award you nominated me for.  Thank you for nominating me for this award.  You prepared me well for high school.  I appreciate everything you did very much.  I’m currently working on my high school science fair project.  My topic is: What is the effect of varied frequencies of light on a solar panel’s efficiency? I hope that everything is going well at I.H.M.  Take care and have a great Christmas season!
