Biography
After
attending Catholic Schools from Kindergarten through 12th grade (St. Mary School
and McNicholas High School), I attended the University of Cincinnati. After
graduating with my degree in Early Childhood Education, I taught third grade at
Prince of Peace Catholic School. This will be my second year teaching at
Immaculate Heart of Mary! I continue to love being a part of the IHM community.
While I am teaching at IHM, I will be continuing my education and learning at
Xavier University in order to obtain my Masters Degree in Reading Education. I
am currently planning to be finished with my Masters Degree in December 2012!

Philosophy
To have the
opportunity to educate children is a privilege! It is my goal to ensure that
each student within the classroom feels as if they are a valued, contributing
member of the classroom community. I am fully aware that no two students are
alike and that each student has different learning styles, needs and strengths.
I encourage and welcome parents as partners in the educational process. My goal is
to make a positive difference in the learning and life of the students in 1W!
