We will be picking up where we left off last year and will be studying Ancient Rome. We will be discovering the civilization and the lasting impact on our civilization.

My name is Miss. Molly Schreiner and I teach 5th and 6th grade Social Studies here at IHM . This is my eighth year here at IHM. Previously, I have taught pre-school, kindergarten, first grade, fifth grade and high school all in Kentucky. I was born and raised in Northern KY. I attended Catholic school for twelve years before attending Western Kentucky University where I received my Bachelor of Arts in History. I received my Masters degree in the summer of 2009. I love teaching and have found a true love for 5th and 6th grade. I believe learning should be fun for students and that everyday is a new adventure. I try to apply new knowledge with things the students can relate in their own lives. I use a variety of activities to bring out all of the students' best qualities and abilities. I believe all students are capable of great things!
