Hello and welcome to first grade! I.H.M. has truly been a part of my entire life, as it was here that I was baptized, attended grade school, began my teaching career, and sent my own four children to school.
I graduated from Thomas More College with my Bachelor's Degree in Middle Childhood education with concentrations in Reading, ELA, and Social Studies. I then attended Mount Saint Joseph University where I obtained Early Childhood Education Pre-K-3 Licensure. I recently graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Master of Education Degree in Literacy and Second Language Studies with a concentration in preK-16 literacy and learning instruction.
I feel blessed and lucky that I have been given the opportunity to work here at I.H.M. I look forward to helping each of your children grow emotionally, academically, and spiritually. I believe that each little person in my room is a gift from God and adds their own special touch to our room. I thank you for sharing them with me. It is my goal to help each student leave my room a little better and stronger for having been a part of 1W. I know that each child has different social, emotional, spiritual, and academic needs, and I strive to tap into the methods that will best enable your student to grow and succeed in all areas of development. I hope to help set them on the right path and enable them to enjoy the journey. I am looking forward to a wonderful year!
