Our Kindergarten Day:

Each morning, we gather in the classroom and hear the school announcements, pray together and say the Pledge of Allegiance before heading to the kindergarten building. After unpacking, the students begin their bell ringer and read the daily message. Each day, the students participate in a morning meeting that consists of a greeting, activity, sharing time and interactive modeling. We sing songs, update the calendar and count, listen to and discuss read aloud books and partake in large group instruction on the rug. This helps us to get to know each other better and build community.
Our Language Arts Block consists of Amplify Reading Series, Writing Workshops, Learning Centers, Ipads and Book Buddies to foster reading readiness skills and communication.

After recess and lunch, the children engage in Math activities that include hands on experiences, I Ready lessons and Ipad use to promote a solid grasp of mathematical concepts. We also put math skills into practice during STEM activities.

Students have many opportunities to learn about Jesus and develop a close relationship with Him through daily prayer, Bible stories, weekly mass, faith lessons and Adoration visits. We are also blessed to be able to participate in service projects and prayer services.

Social Studies/Science and Developmental Cooperative Centers as well as specials (Music Movement/Culture, Art and Gym) round out our afternoon of learning and play.
