Science (7th to 8th)
• EXPLORE!
• Be a kid! Go outside and play/exercise and use the processes of respiration and fermentation.
• Eat well-balanced meals, making sure to get plenty of carbs/proteins and some fats.
• Plant some vegetables in a garden, or pot, and record their growth and development process.
• Read! It'll help you learn new words and strengthen your vocabulary in preparation for the High School Placement Test (HSPT) in November

Science (8th to 9th)
• EXPLORE!
• Go to Kings Island, or Cedar Point, and experience potential energy, kinetic energy, speed, acceleration & deceleration, and Newton's Three Laws of Motion by riding various roller coasters.
• Convert daily summer temperatures into Celsius and Kelvin.
• Play frisbee golf (Bernoulli's Principle), have a Super Soaker battle (Pascal's Principle), and float in a pool (Archimedes' Principle).
• Watch the Homerun Derby, pick 5 homeruns and when their distances (in feet) are announced, convert them to meters, kilometers, centimeters, and millimeters.
• Identify acids/bases around your home.
