My Bio
IHM is home for my family. It has been my lifelong parish. I am a graduate of IHM school, all four of my children are also graduates, and even my father is an IHM alum! My mom was a second-grade teacher here for almost twenty years. This year will be my twentieth year as an IHM teacher having taught every grade level (K-8) at some point. It will be my sixth year as a member of the Junior High teaching team. I served our parish for sixteen years as the Coordinator of Children's Religious Education. I have my advanced catechist certification and am an ARE (Associate of Religious Education). I also hold degrees in elementary education (grades 1-8) and in the fine arts. Teaching is much more than a career for me. It is a passion and a ministry. I subscribe to the idea that "teaching is the art of assisting discovery." What a blessing to be able to journey along with God's youth as they explore His many gifts. I am honored to do my part to help each child reach his or her fullest potential as a child of God, learning and growing each day...going out into the world to be Christ for everyone they meet.
