Grade Level Policies

The Junior High team encourages the students to remember to be Christ-Like, Accountable, Respectful, and Engaged and to adopt good behaviors which reflect their Catholic values throughout their time at Immaculate Heart of Mary. If a student misses class, his/her homework buddy will write down a general description of what was missed, but it is still the student's responsibility to make up the missed work.  Students are encouraged to check with their teachers regarding the material they missed.

CARE cards should be signed every Monday night and are checked in homeroom on Tuesday morning. Students receive one warning per trimester if they forget to have their CARE card signed. After that one warning, it is an academic notice for each time the student forgets.

Students are also expected to have their planners with them each day in class.

Discipline Procedures
2 tardies to class = 1 behavior notice
2 dress code violations = 1 behavior notice
2 academic notices = 1 behavior notice

3rd behavior notice = Detention
6th behavior notice = Detention and contact the parents
9th behavior notice = Detention
12th behavior notice = Detention
15th behavior notice = Suspension

**CARE card behavior notices do NOT reset each trimester.
