. Library Book Schedule
Grade 2-8 may check out up to three books for a two week period. Grade 1 may check out 2 books for a two week period and Kindergarten may check out 1 book over a two week period.
Overdue Books
There is a 7 day period after the date due, before a notice is sent home via the Wednesday Envelope. When school is out for a day or two due to weather, etc. I will not send out notices. I wait until all the classes have the opportunity to visit the Library, or return books. A total of three notices will be sent before I contact the parent advising of the overdue book. Please know that I do not charge late fees-I simply want the book back!
Regarding lost or damaged books being returned, please notify me right away.If books are lost, payment will be required. If books become damaged the cost of the repair will be determined and payment will be required. Please always pay for lost or damaged books by a check made out to IHM.
