My name is Laura Case and I am so excited to be a part of the IHM Preschool team! I have taught my whole career within the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. This is my 11th year of teaching (4th at IHM). I previously started and taught a preschool program, followed by being a 1st grade teacher. I have a psychology degree from Miami University and a M.Ed from Xavier University. I hold an early childhood teaching license.
I have been a member of the IHM community for as long as I can remember. I attended IHM for 1st-8th grade. Back then, 1st grade was the youngest grade at IHM! I got married at IHM and continue to be a parishioner. I have many fond memories of my time at IHM and am looking forward to creating more good memories!
I live in the area with my husband and 2 sons, an IHM kindergartner and preschooler! I am very happy to be teaching in my community.
I teach the a M-W and a TH-F 3 year old morning classes and the afternoon Multiage 3/4s class. I am so excited to work with and watch your child grow this year! We have a lot of fun while learning. I believe that children learn through play and exploration. We have many structured times throughout the day. Each week we focus one 1 letter which is our "Letter of the Week". We work with numbers daily, focusing on 1-10, with exposure up to 20.
