On Thursday, November 7th IHM School celebrated their annual Veterans Day celebration to honor the Veterans in our IHM School community and beyond.
Students led Mass, including patriotic songs, for all Veterans in attendance. After Mass, a special blessing was prayed upon the Veterans by Fr. Jeff, along with petitions prepared by students and the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance.
As is the tradition, our students were led out of Mass by bag pipes and a color guard. Veterans then enjoyed a breakfast sponsored by our IHM PTO and a Veterans Day music recital by our 4th Grade students.
