There are 2 main funding opportunities for any family
to make Catholic education affordable.

FEBRUARY 3, 2023!

1. Archdiocese of Cincinnati Tuition Assistance

One aspect of the One Faith , One Hope, One Love (1F1H1L) campaign started several years ago was to address the need of tuition assistance to families who otherwise might not be able to send their children to a Catholic school. These grants are for elementary school (K-8) and typically range from $250 to $1200 per qualified student.

***Please make sure to upload all supporting documents - 2021 tax return, 2021 W2's and 2022 W2's by the deadline of February 3, 2023.***

2. Immaculate Heart of Mary Tuition Assistance

Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish provides tuition assistance to help parish day school families (K-8) attend the school.  Active parishioners may apply for assistance by completing an application.

You can apply for BOTH of these tuition assistance options by completing ONE online application found at:

Simple steps to apply:

1. Choose "Create a user name and password" or if you already have an account, click "Sign In"

2. Then click on the Start Application link

3. Select the appropriate school year (2023-2024)

4. Complete the steps as prompted to apply for financial assistance

5. When asked during the application process if you are applying for an "award" answer YES. This will allow you to apply for the 1F1H1L grant.

*NOTE: All applicants must answer "YES" for award application as families must apply for this grant first before eligible for parish tuition assistance.

CEF would like to once again give back to the employees within our schools who have given tirelessly to support the mission of building up the Kingdom of God.  Therefore, we are making available a limited number of tuition scholarships for the children of the employees within our Catholic schools. NEW for 23-24! We are happy to announce that this program is open to both elementary and high schools!  Eligibility includes ANY employee that that is directly employed through the school. A direct employee is defined as an employee that is paid from the school payroll and not by a public district or third-party contract.  Examples include teachers, aides, administrative assistants , business managers and custodians.  Employees will apply for this tuition scholarship between January 23th- February 3rd and a random lottery will award 300 students a $1,000 tuition scholarship in mid-February.  Employees will be notified of their child’s award status shortly after.  The scholarship can be used at any K-12 Catholic school recognized by the Archdiocese.  More information on this program is in an attachment below.

FEBRUARY 3, 2023!

The application will be processed by a third party company which will apply designated criteria in order to rank eligibility and determine dollar amounts available for assistance. The application must be submitted each year by specified dates, and eligibility for these financial grants will be determined by April for the next academic year.  All parents registering for the next school year are expected to submit a tuition deposit during the February registration period, regardless of whether or not they are currently on financial assistance.  If a financial crisis occurs during the course of a school year, parents will have an opportunity to complete an application for financial assistance at that time.

If financial circumstances change, prayerfully consider repaying the parish for the assistance you have received.
