This activity that went along with the Journey's story, Pop’s Bridge. The children were learning about the importance that roles play in the work field and how that relates to bridge making. This was cross curricular with ELA, science, social studies & religion. It tied these disciplines together because we were able to use mathematics and science theories to construct the bridges; ELA to write about our findings about various bridges across America, & religion to discuss the importance that God plays on our roles as individuals. This also tied into vocations and what is God calling you to be as an adult.
