IHM School has once again gone to the dogs. The third annual Pet Food Drive ended at the end of October and staff, students and parents donated dog and cat food for a good cause. Last year they collected over 2,000 pounds of food and treats benefiting the local community.
This year donations will be shared by local elderly pet owners on fixed incomes, the SPCA Sharonville Shelter at 11900 Conrey Road www.spcacincinnati.org and the United Pet Fund www. unitedpetfund.org
Immaculate Heart of Mary School’s Theme this year is Peace Begins with Me and, since “Every act of love is a work of peace no matter how small” (Mother Teresa), this stewardship project fit perfectly.
