This year IHM School has trained staff in Responsive Classroom. This evidence-based approach focuses on relationships in the classroom, bridging academics with social-emotional learning. IHM School has adapted this concept through Morning Meeting. Students begin each day in their homeroom for 30 minutes, learning about each other in a safe and joyful environment. Every student feels welcome and each room is creating it’s own community, building upon the foundation each day.
