My name is Heather Walsh.  This is my first-year teaching at IHM and I am so excited to join the amazing 6th grade team!  I have been a long-term substitute teacher at IHM for the past 2 years.  Prior to teaching I spent the past several years raising my children, all of whom attended, or still attend, IHM. Prior to staying home with to raise my kids, I spent my professional life in a law firm where I was an attorney for 5 years.  The IHM school and parish are such a wonderful place to have children and I am very excited to be a part of the team that gets to grow these young minds! 

 

I attended University of Cincinnati and then received my doctorate from Catholic University in Washington, D.C. In my free time I enjoy reading, cooking and watching my kids in their various activities.  I have 6 kids and a wonderful husband, a couple of turtles and very happy dog.

 

I am so thrilled to be part of this community and can't wait to see where the future takes us!  Go Crusaders!
