I am a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education.
I have been a member of IHM parish for 41 years, and have been teaching for 24 years. Twenty-two of those years have been spent at IHM teaching the fifth grade! I have taught children of all age levels, but really enjoy my fifth graders. In addition, I have worked professionally as an educator of teachers at IDC training center, and as a presenter of workshops at the state, local and national levels. I have two children; Mia and Garrett, and they both attend IHM school. I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling.
I believe that all children can learn, and that they all have strengths and weaknesses that help them to do so. I enjoy the challenge of reaching each of my students and facilitating their learning processes. I look for ways to continually evolve as an educator so that I can help students to grow to their full potential in all aspects of their growth as Catholics.
