Science Summer Suggestions  

• Explore outside.  Identify the producers/consumers.  Look at predator/prey relationships.  Try to make a food web for the area you explore.  
• Look at the stars...try to identify the Big Dipper. 
• Go to Nasa.gov and see what new things humans are learning about space – you might even play a few games. 
• Log in to Brainpop.com once a week and pick a science topic to review from grade 5 – scientific method, solar system, force, motion, all the forms and types of energy, ecology, energy pyramid, etc.
