Summer Message from Mrs. Dumford:
As the school year wraps up, I want to thank all of my wonderful students and families for a year full of creativity, curiosity, and tech-powered learning! From coding challenges to digital citizenship lessons, you’ve grown in incredible ways!
Summer is a great time to relax and recharge—but it’s also a perfect opportunity to explore technology in fun and meaningful ways! Whether it’s trying out a new app, exploring coding games, or simply staying curious about how things work, there are so many ways to keep growing your love of DC learning! Please see my STEM+ Summer Activity Page for STEM+ related activities or camps around the Cincinnati area!
Have a safe, restful, and inspiring summer. I look forward to seeing you again in August, ready to build, code, create, and innovate!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Dumford
Hello, my name is Lucy Dumford! I graduated from the University of Dayton in 2015 with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education with a Fourth and Fifth Grade Generalist Endorsement.
I went to Guardian Angels for grade school and Archbishop McNicholas for high school.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy golfing, hiking, snow skiing, and traveling to Northern Michigan. My husband, Jarred, and I have a wonderful four year old daughter and a two year old son that keep us very busy :).
